$2000 to repair AC. Picked up still blowing hot. They did not fix the AC, but were more than willing to take my 2 grand. Too top it off! For another $1000 they will fix the AC. WOW!! If your going to screw me can I at least get a kiss??

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I brought my truck in for what should have been a straightforward repair, but they immediately started adding “recommended” services that I never approved. When I declined the additional work, the manager, Brian, became hostile and made it extremely difficult to get my vehicle back. It felt like they were using my truck as leverage to pressure me into paying for services I didn’t want. This business operates in a way that I found to be predatory and unprofessional. My experience left me feeling pressured, frustrated, and unable to trust their recommendations. I would not recommend this shop to anyone looking for honest or transparent service.

WARNING: Dishonest business practices. What an absolute nightmare of a business. It seems their only goal is to rip customers off. The manager, Brian, is completely unprofessional; he threatened to keep my vehicle unless I paid an inflated, unapproved bill. I only brought the truck in for one specific repair, but they kept adding charges without my consent. Now, he is refusing to release the vehicle unless I pay the full, bloated amount. Who charges $1,400 for a single-wheel brake change? I hope people read this and choose to take their business elsewhere.

I had my first engine oil change for my 2026 4runner there. I was really suspicious about the price being too cheap, but wow—what can I say? I watched the whole process, and they are truly knowledgeable. They even have a system that can pull maintenance information for new cars. If I were the owner, I would absolutely charge double or maybe triple what they charged me, yet they gave me a discounted price on top of the already low price. I highly recommend them!.

Would give a big fat ZERO stars if it were an option. I would actually use my last breath to tell someone not to use Carter and Sons. If you’re looking for someone who can actually diagnose and fix the issues you’re concerned about, go literally anywhere but Carter and Sons. But if you want to turn your perfectly running vehicle into NOT that, then this is the place for you. My vehicle was driving and running perfectly fine before they ever touched it. The first time it was sent in the car was still in drivable condition, but was showing an “Engine Fault: Service Now” message on the dash. After having a code reader used on it, it translated to be an issue with a catalytic converter. To be on the safe side, we had the car towed to Carter and Sons. Upon drop off the owner said the car, which was cranking and driving fine before it was in their possession, had to be jumped four times, so they replaced the battery, which now I’m convinced was just because it was an eco boost battery and those are more expensive to replace. He also claimed to replace 3 cylinoids. No attention was paid to the catalytic converter nor the exhaust system which is what the original code was reading. Upon rec
